I'm starting to feel like a real loser checking this day after day with no reward...

I strive to keep those relationships as well. The ones that have definitely expired their usefulness, but I try to actively stay involved with that person. It's hard work sometimes, but it's just something I feel I must do. And then I start thinking of it as an obligation, and I really shouldn't. But that's me, the people pleaser.

I wrote a big long comment.. but you know what. All I can say is you are not alone and that the feeling of helplessness (whether toward everyone else or yourself) is the worst feeling.

Just wanted to say thanks again, even most of the night is a vague memory I did have a blast, can't wait to see you at the wedding. Let Kenny know also.
